We are seeking an experienced and inspiring leader who leads with trust, clarity, and integrity. Building on solid understanding of inorganic chemistry and and affinity to hands-on laboratory management, in this role, you will assume full operational and commercial responsibility for inorganic-chemical analytical operations and a team of approximately 30 employees, driving its technical, organizational, and strategic development.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational and disciplinary leadership for a team of approximately 30 employees, developing talent, motivating teams, and fostering collaboration toward shared goals.
- Lead change management and process optimization initiatives, guiding transformation projects from planning through implementation, identifying and realizing efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities, and executing restructuring measures where required.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, including ISO 17025, while driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners, and regulatory authorities, representing the organization with confidence, professionalism, and credibility.
- Foster a culture of trust, accountability, technical excellence, and openness to change, supporting the development of a modern and forward-looking organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field, in all cases with a focus on inorganic chemistry.
- Ideally, solid business experience managing financial performance, including profit and loss (P&L) responsibility.
- Several years of proven leadership experience in an operational environment, preferably within an analytical or accredited laboratory or the metallurgy, mining, or raw materials industry.
- Demonstrated experience leading change management initiatives, successfully guiding organizational transformation from planning through execution.
- You have the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop people while driving sustainable change.
