Build and develop relationships with new and existing customers in the Affinity Resins business unit—from initial contact through to long-term business partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and convert new business opportunities: from initial interest to evaluations, first orders, and repeat sales.
- Support product evaluations and adoption—in collaboration with technical and application teams—to ensure customers can quickly implement the right solutions.
- Manage the commercial process: qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closing—with clear goals and a high level of responsibility.
- Monitor the market and competition in the fields of bioprocessing and affinity chromatography to strategically position offers.
- Make customer feedback and market insights transparent internally to help shape future planning and commercial strategy.
Requirements:
- Identify and convert new business opportunities: from initial interest to evaluations, first orders, and repeat sales.Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or business-related field (e.g., Biotechnology, Biology, or Chemistry).
- Solid understanding of and experience with affinity chromatography.
- Several years of experience in account management, sales, product management, or marketing within the life sciences industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a structured and organized approach to work.
- Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
