Our client is a successful, owner-managed, mid-sized group of companies based in the Aachen region. The company covers a diverse and demanding range of services and holds its own work to high, externally certified quality standards – it is precisely this diverse, quality-driven environment that makes the position particularly attractive. On their behalf, PRCSS is looking for an entrepreneurially minded, hands-on personality as Head of Finance (m/f/d) – with a clear professional focus on finance and accounting and plenty of room to actively develop the company's financial reporting.
Your Responsibilities
• You take on the professional and disciplinary leadership of a well-established team of approx. 5 employees in finance and accounting
• You actively shape and further develop finance and accounting, including controlling
• You are responsible for the monthly and annual financial statements and are able to take over tasks currently handled externally by the tax advisor
• You establish dedicated quality assurance for the finance function and give it a clear signature
• You bring modern finance tools as well as BI and AI solutions into everyday work and drive the digitalization of the finance department
• You roll up your sleeves in day-to-day business – practical, direct, and with a short path from idea to implementation
Your Profile
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting – whether in industry, consulting, auditing, or tax advisory
• Solid leadership experience with empathy and sensitivity, as well as experience in project responsibility
• Sound technical understanding of financial reporting, accounting, and controlling
• Pragmatic, hands-on working style
• Experience in the freight forwarding/logistics industry is a welcome plus
